Today, we

  1. check the answers to the multiple choice questions from last week;
  2. handed in the answers to the short answer and short essay questions, chapters 15-17 (see the answers here)
  3. watched “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” movie, the death and resurrection of Aslan,
  4. watched “The Gospel According to John“, the death and resurrection of Jesus,
  5. wrote about the similarities between the two.

Today, we studied chapters 11-12 of LWW.

  1.  Multiple choice questions, Short Answer questions, Short Essay questions.
  2. Then we checked the answers to last week’s short answer questions (on chapters 9-10).
  3. Then we checked the answers to the week before’s homework (week 8).
  4. Then we watched 5 minutes of Mel Gibson‘s movie “The Passion of the Christ“: the scene where Peter denies he knows Jesus three times, then remembers that Jesus had foretold that he would do this.

Homework:

  1. Read chapters 13-14
  2. Read the story of “the Passion” in the New Testament:
    1. Matthew chapters 26 ~
    2. Mark chapters 14 ~
    3. Luke chapters 22 ~
    4. John chapters 18 ~
  3. Read the following Bible verses and say what is the connection with LWW:
    1. Psalms 25:15
    2. Colossians 3:1-3
    3. Hebrews 12:1-2
